One of the residents of Port Charles has a connection to Salem! Days of Our Lives star Bryan Dattilo (ex-Lucas) announced that his daughter, Delia, will be appearing on General Hospital!

“A Dattilo was spotted in Port Charles,” he shared with a pic of his 10-year-old daughter in the studio parking lot in front of the GH sign. “Finally, a real soap star in the family.”

Of course, the actor is joking because he’s been a soap star since debuting on DAYS as Lucas Roberts back in 1993. His original run on the show ended in 2001, but he came back again from 2002-10, 2012-18, and 2020-22. He has continued to return for visits of varying lengths since then and is slated to come back to Salem in December 2024 for Doug Williams’ funeral.

Dattilo and his second wife, Elizabeth Cameron, welcomed Delia on May 14, 2014. While GH will mark the little girl’s daytime debut, she is experienced in front of the camera already having appeared in commercials for Capitol One and Hispanic Heritage Month. The proud pop also celebrated his little girl’s success playing three roles in the musical Wonderland as part of Worklight Youth Theater. “She is a force on the stage,” he enthused. “Next stop, Broadway!”

Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Delia will be appearing in scenes set at Rice Plaza. Given that GH will be taping its Christmas episodes around this time, it’s likely she’ll be one of the kids visiting Santa or enjoying one of the other festive holiday activities. So keep an eye out for her!
