On General Hospital, Alexis has had various love stories, even being married a few times. However, it was recently teased that a certain character with a history with Alexis might be returning to the soap. Thanks to this, some fans think Alexis could have a second chance at love.

Alexis has been played by Nancy Lee Grahn since 1996, in addition to a few temporary actresses over the years. Grahn also reprised the character on the spin-off Port Charles. Prior to this, she was known for playing Julia Wainwright Capwell on Santa Barbara.

One the soap, Alexis is the daughter of Mikkos Cassadine and Kristin Bergman. She is also the mother of Kristina Davis, Molly Lansing, adn the late Sam McCall.

In addition, Alexis has had various romances on the soap. This includes her marriages to Ric Lansing, and Julian Jerome. As noted by Soaps, a love story might be right around the corner for Alexis and it might already involve a familiar face.

As the publication noted, Jerry Jacks was a character fans loved to hate, emphasizing how a good villain can really make a story. Alexis first met Jerry under the alias, James Brosnan. As a favor to his brother Jax, who she was briefly married to, she represented him in court.

Soon, sparks began to fly between the two. While the character has left the soap, fans have good reason to believe Jerry could return to Port Charles. In addition, this could see Jerry and Alexis’ relationship reignite.

Originally played by Julian Stone, Sebastian Roché took on the role in 2007, leaving the soap in 2015. However, as previously reported, Roché teased his character could return in a conversation with Us Weekly. As he noted, “Never say never. No one ever dies [in the show]. I don’t know how many times I’ve died.”

That said, for the time being, Roché noted that there weren’t immediate plans for the character to return to Port Charles. According to the actor, he likes to think that Jerry is currently somewhere tropical, such as “somewhere in the South Pacific.” Personally, he imagines Jerry “sailing, maybe in some beautiful destination,” also noting that the character is a traveler.

The publication asked fans if they would like to see Jerry return to the soap. In particular, one option was seeing Jerry return if only to reignite his relationship with Alexis. As for the publication itself, “We vote yes — and if there’s a chance for Roché to bring his charming, evil character back then we’re here for it!”

With characters coming and going in General Hospital, it’s entirely possible for characters to return in the world of soaps. However, in the end, only time will tell what will unfold on the soap.
