Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) on General Hospital (GH) is vocal about politics, and she even said in her social media profile that she’s an “activist.” So, when someone criticized her politics, she clapped back this weekend.

TV Star Is Vocal on Her Own Social Media

Sometimes, the actress who plays the role of Alexis Davis might be at an event or on the red carpet, and reporters ask her opinion about politics or current events. However, she doesn’t rush out and post her liberal comments everywhere. Instead, she mostly confines her thoughts and feelings to her Instagram account.

The mom of Kate Grahn doesn’t hide her contempt for Republicans who support Donald Trump, but mostly, you would need to visit her profile page to discover what she thinks about them. So, that’s probably why the ABC star vented about a critic on her social media on April 12.

The Critic Gets A Clap-Back

When she shared her issue with a critic, Nancy Lee Grahn didn’t write a caption. Instead, she shared a text meme where she had her say. It said:

To the person who said they like me best when I am not ranting about politics: I like me best when I’m not ignoring fascism.

It also came with a header that said, “MY VOICE, MY CHOICE.”

Fans React In The Comments

Lots of like-minded fans who also hate Donald Trump and his administration, agreed that people who don’t like her politics should stay off the ABC star’s page. One of them wrote, “People who only want to see you as Alexis on GH as an actor, should only watch you on GH and not follow you on social media…”

Another follower wrote, “I applaud you for using your platform and voice to stand up for democracy.”

More comments followed, like, “Never tell Nan to be quiet…she is beautiful and she’s extremely RESPONSIBLE,” and, “I also like you best when you’re not ignoring fascism!”

People Are Allowed Opinions

One of the beautiful things about the USA is that people are allowed to express their personal opinions about politics. Neither side is right all the time, because that’s the way of the world. But, the best way to ignore those who might annoy you, is to just unfollow.

It is a bit like people who go and slam Cameron Mathison on his personal posts because they don’t like his character, Drew Cain on the show. Just, in Nancy Lee Grahn’s case, it’s the other way around.
